SUMMARY I updated to 25.04.1 from... I wanna say 24.12 but not certain... and since then whenever I try to manipulate a transform on the project monitor, it creates a new keyframe at the location I'm at. I was told to toggle the "Limit automatic keyframes" option in the keyframe toolbar, but that did not work. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Effects pane > Drag Transform to clip 2. In Effects/Composition Stack pane, or in timeline, click to another location/time in the clip 3. Using the project monitor to move the transform creates a new keyframe at the location I've tried both checking and unchecking the "Limit automatic keyframes" option in the hamburger menu, but it still creates a keyframe at the new location. OBSERVED RESULT - Creates a keyframe at current timestamp for clip EXPECTED RESULT - Update the first and only keyframe to transform the clip in its entirety.
No, the "Limit automatic keyframes options" is designed to limit the number of keyframes created per second when moving the transform rect while playing. If you want to disable automatic keyframes, you must add a transform effect to a clip, then go in the right edge of the monitor to show the toolbar. In this thoolbar, you will see an icon "Automatic keyframes" just above the zoom icons. Uncheck it to disable automatic keyframes
