Hi!

I'm opening this report because i'm not sure if it's a bug or not. I'm using Fedora KDE 42 up-to-date on both my desktop and my laptop. On the EDID section of KInfocenter on my desktop, it shows me all the informations about my monitor connected to my GPU, so far so good.

On my laptop, an HP 255 G9, the section is empty, with a message saying that there is no data. Here the informations about my laptop:

If i try to dump and decode the EDID with "xrandr --verbose | edid-decode - dump.edid", the terminal gives me back "EDID length 6167 is not a multiple of 128.". Could it be a faulty EDID? So in this case, is it better to inform the user with a better message?
