Enabling the background contrast effect makes the issue more visible (as in the recording), it is less noticeable when it is off, although it still occurs
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2025-05-19 17:54:48 UTC
Is that an animated wallpaper? Does the issue happen if you turn that off and use on-animated wallpaper?

In general it would be great if you can nail down what conditions make it happen, because I can't reproduce it myself with a mostly-default setup.
Comment 3 Tech-Tac 2025-05-20 08:57:19 UTC
It is indeed a shader animated wallpaper, I turned it off and the issue seems a lot less noticeable (not sure if it's gone), unless background contrast is enabled it flickers (it is buggy btw)
Comment 4 Tech-Tac 2025-05-20 08:57:47 UTC
is this a GPU-related bug?
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2025-05-20 17:40:52 UTC
Well what GPU do you have?
Comment 6 Tech-Tac 2025-05-20 20:24:11 UTC
AMD Radeon HD 7650D (integrated APU, radeon legacy driver)

It's a bit hard to tell, but it looks like you might have shadows turned off on your Window Decorations - if that is the case, then on the off chance that this is related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=500185 , could you please try setting shadows to the Breeze defaults and seeing if the issue remains?

Thanks!
Comment 8 Tech-Tac 2025-05-26 06:57:55 UTC
The shadows are enabled, they're just toned down because I think the defaults are much, I'm going to reset to default and try
Comment 9 Tech-Tac 2025-05-26 07:24:39 UTC
I think it's also worth mentioning that I have wobbly windows on
Comment 10 John Kizer 2025-05-26 18:57:27 UTC
Thanks, just thought it was worth a check :-)
Comment 11 Nate Graham 2025-09-17 23:20:10 UTC
Can you reproduce it with a new clean user account in Plasma 6.4.5, with no customizations at all?
