SUMMARY When pressing play on an album, a playlist is created but does not start playing. Additionally, you can manually play a song from the playlist, but regardless of what the repeat setting is set to it will stop playing when the song is done. Symptoms seem identical to Bug 479130 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start playing a playlist; 2. Let the first song end or skip to the next one. OBSERVED RESULT Song stops playing and does not advance to any other song in the playlist. EXPECTED RESULT Next song would play according to the current repeat setting SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Symptoms are similar to this previous bug that was resolved https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479130
Hi - just checking to see about possible connections to other bugs - when this issue occurs, can you drag the progress bar for the song that's showing? If you can, does that cause it to begin playback? Thanks!

Yes, when the current song finishes and the next song is brought up and stops playing, if you click on the progress bar it immediately continues playing from the point selected.

Sorry, the email for this must have slipped through in my inbox! If dragging the progress bar gets things moving again, then it's likely you were experiencing this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503408 , which should be fixed in Qt 6.9.1. Thanks! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 503408 ***
