"Add Calendar" 2. "DAV groupware resource" 3. Add username and password. 4. Server Configuration -> Add -> CalDAV 5. Add CalDAV URL OBSERVED RESULT No events are shown. EXPECTED RESULT Events are shown. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Manjaro KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION See screenshot.
still a problem? what happens after you push the OK button in the dialog? I need more info
Thank you for investiagitng this. Yes, it is still a problem. After I push the OK button, the window just closes. Everythign looks fine and there are no errors reported. However, the calendar does not have any entries. If KOrganizer supports some form of debug logs, I could look into them or attach them to this issue, but did not find something like "Show debug log window"/etc.
did you use the wizard setup or did you select "Configure the resource manually". some people have problems when they use the wizard. I don't know of any debug logging for this situation.
Right Click -> Add Calendar -> DAV groupware resource -> Add login credentials -> Configure resource manually Server Configuration: Add -> CalDAV + Remote URL -> OK -> OK
- does the new calendar show up in the calendar list viewer ? - if so, is it selected? maybe run korganizer or kontact from the command line and look for warning or other information messages I'm running out of ideas any chance you added a VPN recently?
(1) No, I did not recently add a VPN. (2) The only other thing I can think of is that it is related to my CardDAV provider (Posteo): I recently had some problems with my CardDAV contacts (which I synchronize in Thunderbird and other applications). The provider for my CardDAV and CalDAV data is the same. Nevertheless, as I already mentioned, the calendar works fine in Thunderbird and other applications. (3) The command line does not produce any output when adding the calendar. (4) The new calendar shows up in the list and is selected.
After some extended testing, it appears that other applications are also having trouble accessing my calendar, e.g. vdirsyncer. KOrganizer could be more robust when handling calendar files since other applications, such as Thunderbird, can sync correctly. However, it appears that there is something wrong with either my calendar or the way the provider is serving the CalDAV interface. Therefore, I am closing this issue since it is not really a bug in KOrganizer itself. Thanks again for the great support!
