SUMMARY

When activating HDR on a display, I tried calibrating the HDR brightness but regardless of where the slider is, I only see a white box, no logo.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. activate HDR
2. chose "Calibrate HDR Brightness"
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
The logo screen is white regardless of the brightness setting

EXPECTED RESULT
The brightness changes

Did you press apply after checking enable HDR box? For me it works only if i click apply. Only checking box sets maximum brightness but hdr is not enabled, so kde logo is not visible in calibration menu. I tried on two hdr screens.

The display itself reports HDR, so yes, it is enabled. Also, if HDR is not checked in the settings, the calibration menu vanishes.
