Created attachment 181408 [details] Brightness and control when i logged in plasma without the external monitor connected SUMMARY when i connect my external monitor in my laptop, it only shows my laptop build-in brightness control in the system tray(or nothing is i have the "switch to external screen" display configuration set STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. log in plasma without the external monitor connected 2. connect the external monitor 3. open the brightness control tray icon 4. observe that no brightness control for the external monitor shows up OBSERVED RESULT it only shows the laptop build-in screen control(or nothing if the "switch to external screen" display configuration is set) EXPECTED RESULT The expected result is for external monitor brightness control to show up when connected SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.14.6-300.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Unknown Type, 8 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 8 GiB of RAM (7,1 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 82MF System Version: IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION if i relogin with the external monitor connected or if i run `systemctl --user restart plasma-powerdevil.service` the issue get fixed
