Resizing the video so that this bug happens

SUMMARY
The sidebar button appears after resizing the window in a certain way. However, clicking on it doesn't do anything.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Resize the window to be small enough horizontally that the sidebar is hidden.
2. Resize the window horizontally large enough that the sidebar icon appears again.
3. Click the sidebar button.

OBSERVED RESULT
No change

EXPECTED RESULT
Either the sidebar button isn't shown, or when clicked it makes the sidebar reappear.

Still happens as of 25.08.2 (Flathub version).
Comment 2 Tobias Fella 2025-11-11 15:50:51 UTC
Something seems to have change in Kirigami, making this button not show up anymore; this means that this bug doesn't really apply anymore
