Description sar.jensen9 2025-05-13 06:47:09 UTC
SUMMARY
The three toggles at the top of the screen (Preserve alpha, Eraser, and reload original preset) do not work. This is sudden, has not happened before, and was running smoothly beforehand. Eraser can be toggled but not turned off, even with "E" button.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run Krita. Opening a file is optional
2. Attempt any of the 3 toggles
3. N/A

OBSERVED RESULT
None of the toggles can be triggered. Only the "Eraser" function can be selected. Cannot be unselected, even with pressing the "E" key. Important to note that hovering over these toggles dont even show that they can be selected, no button overlay.

EXPECTED RESULT
Expected the toggles to be triggered and for 'E' to turn eraser toggle on and off. Preset should be restored to original, and preserve alpha should preserve alpha.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 11
macOS:
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Unsure about what the specifics are for Krita program. Should be up to date. Need to emphasize this came out of nowhere, and was running smoothly just the day before. I reset my computer and the program and my settings. Have yet to try to reinstall.

Never mind, I'm a moron. All of my files were opening on top of a Group layer, which stops you from selecting/toggling these. Apologies
