OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: fedora 41 - x11 plasma KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It is a dell synaptic touchpad. xinput sees it but fn key combination no longer functions.
It is found in a Wayland session?
It is the same story with wayland . It may be a fedora issue. lsusb ; Bus 002 Device 009: ID 413c:8162 Dell Computer Corp. Integrated Touchpad [Synaptics]
Have you by any chance forced the use of the old Synaptics touchpad driver, instead of the newer Libinput driver? If so, this is expected, since we don't support the Synaptics driver anymore in Plasma 6. If not, then it's most likely a Libinput bug, and should be reported at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput/-/issues/
