kio_thumbnail pops a dialogue for each comma seperated list in a directory asking how it is to be interpreted before creating a thumbnail. rather annoying if you have a directory full of them. either make an intelligent guess, or don't preview "csv"s. :)

The problem is still present in the 3.1 release candidates (RedHat packages).
I just get the pop up every time the curser crosses a csv file and no matter
what I select, nothing happens. Confusing and annoying.

I'm not familiar with koffice code, any way to suppress this dialog when 
generating previews? Or more generally: some flag to suppress any 
possible UI?

No, there is currently not any way to suppress a filter dialog.

CSV previews have been removed from KOffice.

I'm running Kubuntu 12.10 with KDE 4.10 Beta 2 and this bug has returned. Every time I open a directory containing CSV files, the kio_thumbnailer window opens.

CSV importer is from calligra.
