SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to create a play list while listening to it
2. Search for a song to add, some times it adds while continuing to play. Other times it stops and plays the new song you just added.
3. Note that if u move mouse around the screen outside the listbox, then add. It adds normally with out interupting playback.

OBSERVED RESULT

Adding to playlist some times stops current playback and starts to play the song you just added. Other times it does not.

EXPECTED RESULT

I want to add to a playlist with out stopping playback of current play list.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 John Kizer 2025-05-09 06:08:00 UTC
I'm afraid Elisa 23.08.5 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE.

KDE projects typically move quickly, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to Elisa 25.04.1 as soon as your distribution offers it to you, or use other application distribution methods such as Flathub. If you need support for Elisa 23.08.5, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older software in their "long-term support" releases.

If this issue is still reproducible in Elisa 25.04.1, feel free to re-open this bug report.

Thanks for understanding!
