SUMMARY
When opening Digikam/showfoto and wanting to import an image, for instance from scanner, The import menu is not usable. 


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on the import menu heading

OBSERVED RESULT
The menu opens but it is not usable ( grey ).

EXPECTED RESULT
The menu should be usable without being required to open an existing file which is unreasonable.
