ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Alois Spitzbart 2025-05-13 18:26:54 UTC
I have found out, that it is happening with the keyboard app SwiftKey, but not with Android keyboard (ASOP). SwiftKey hides it self after the first hit of enter. With Android keyboard, the arrow on the key is changing after the first hit and with the second hit, the app is unlocked.

I think this is not an bug of keysmith.

It also happens for me with the default "Android keyboard (AOSP)" on a crDroid 10.13 GSI, based on LineageOS 21, based on Android 14.

All that happens is the keyboard gets hidden, and a "show password" (or "hide password") hint is shown. Maybe the hide/show password button gets focus for some reason?
Keysmith version is 25.0.70 (1747804145) nightly.

It's a regression, until recently it worked fine on my phone.
