SUMMARY
When clicking on the hamburger in the kde-connect desktop widget the menu appears very briefly and disappears. The widget then switches to configuration mode.

Note: The system tray menu works as expected. The kde-connect menu in settings works as expected. Only the desktop widget is affected.

Note: This problem has been around since Plasma 5. Similar report 446335 from 2021.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on the hamburger for a connected device

OBSERVED RESULT
The undrlying menu appears briefly then disappears.
The widget goes into configuration mode.

EXPECTED RESULT
The menu should appear and remain until an item is chosen or the menu is dismissed.

Cannot reproduce on git master; it works fine for me.

Ah, the widget is on the desktop and you're clicking-and-holding for long enough to trigger the widget to enter its own widget edit mode.

Also clicking on notifications in the widget works as expected. The problem is with the hamburger.

I can confirm, but it's fundamentally the same issue.
