Macbook Keyboard Layout as per my hardware with affected keys marked.

SUMMARY
Two keys seem to be incorrectly mapped on the Macbook's keyboard, irrespective of keyboard layout used.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. System Settings -> Keyboard.
2. Select Generic or Apple keyboard, and UK Layout Macintosh or UK Layout Macintosh Intl.
3. Apply and type with either the ± key or the ~ key.

OBSERVED RESULT
The keys are mapped incorrectly, meaning that typing the marked ± key produces a ~ tilde, and vice versa. No other keys are affected.
I have tried:
A number of generic keyboards listed in the config, along with both the relevant UK Layouts for Macintosh. Each one seems to produce the same keyboard error.

EXPECTED RESULT
Typing tilde will produce a ~ correct symbol.

Very likely an upstream issue, perhaps in XKB.
