Created attachment 180904 [details]
Screen recording of playback behaviour, 'Euskefeurat' is an mp3, 'Mutta herra jumala' is an ALAC m4a file

SUMMARY
When beginning to play an mp3 file, either through the queue or by clicking on it directly, playback will not begin. The track loads and is displayed but the time remains at 0 and no audio plays. Clicking play/pause does not affect playback. Playback begins as normal after moving the playback head, even if moved back to the beginning of the track. This occurs with all MP3 files.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add any mp3 file to Elisa
2. Play the track

OBSERVED RESULT
Track loads as normal, but playback does not begin until the playback head is moved around.

EXPECTED RESULT
Playback begins immediately when clicked or next in the queue, as with other tracks in my library.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250501 (not a regression in this version, same behaviour has happened before)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0
Comment 1 Alexandra Koch 2025-05-03 08:59:42 UTC
Clicking the track again in the track list also works to begin normal playback behaviour.
