How windows tearing looks like.

SUMMARY

Tearing of the window occurs. Randomly but often and all the time during use. See screenshot. Happens only to yakuake, so reporting it here.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Just use terminal (in most cases happens when moving cursor in vim or a lot of text is streamed to stdout) Opening and closing helps for a second but then it starts again.

OBSERVED RESULT

Parts of windows under the console replace content of the yakuake terminal area.

Hi - just to check:

* Does this occur in a Wayland session as well?
* Is this a new issue with Yakuake 25.04.0, or had you seen it with prior versions as well?
* Is your screen set to a fractional scaling amount - and if so, does this issue remain if that screen is set to 100% scaling?

Thanks!

1) Not sure regarding wayland, don't use it, since i play games from time to time and not everything i have in steam supports wayland.
2) It started quite recently. Maybe a month or so. So looking at the releases i believe previous version was affected too.
3) I'm on 4k but don't use any scaling. That's actually one of the reasons I'm still on Xorg. KDE on X still has a possibility to change font dpi. That doesn't result into applications thinking that they are running under different resolution and blurry fonts and so on. So i'm basically on 4k with font dpi set to 120.

Does the issue occur in a new user profile with all default display/font settings?

Will check that later. But just checked it happens on two other computers that have different gpu (GeForce 1660 Ti) and screen resolutions 1440p and 1080p. The later one doesn't have any font scaling set.

It doesn't seem to happen on a fresh account, or i can't notice it. But at the moment i change font resolution problem starts to happen again.
