Description Tobias Zwick 2025-04-29 15:47:10 UTC
SUMMARY
The "NeoQwertz"[1] keyboard layout is wrongly named. It is currently named "Neo, QWERTZ". This is a really minor issue, but it is misleading nevertheless: I almost filed a feature request asking for the NeoQwertz keyboard layout to be made available, since I first thought that "Neo, QWERTZ" would be the Neo keyboard layout for QWERTZ-keyboards or something.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In the keyboard layout section, search for "NeoQwertz". No results.
2. Search for "neo" instead. Find "Neo, QWERTZ"

OBSERVED RESULT
Be confused.

EXPECTED RESULT
NeoQwertz is named correctly.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Logo of NeoQwertz is this: https://dl.neo-layout.org/grafik/logos/neoqwertz-schriftzug.svg , i.e. "neoqwertz"

The name comes from upstream — XKB, I think. It'll have to be reported there.

Ah I see. I did this now.
