Hi, today I noticed that the default shortcut for switching between fullscreen and windowed mode in KRDC is Ctrl+Shift+F. This is a bit unfortunate, as that is also the shortcut for the advanced search feature of a lot of applications. From Kate to Visual Studio a lot of different applications across different operating systems are using it. Of course it is easy to change, I now swapped it to Ctrl + LAlt + F which works fine for my usecase. Not sure if LAlt+Shift+F or Ctrl + LAlt + Shift + F would be best as a default. I've also not looked at what other similar applications use to switch between fullscreen and normal mode. Yep, the situation with shortcuts is unfortunate. For every key combination you're going to find an app already using it. Eg. ctrl+alt+F is commonly used in word/googledocs (add footnote) and photoshop (run filter). Enabling "Grab all keys" avoids the issue but can be annoying if you jump frequently in / out the rdp connection. You can customize the shortcuts to try to adapt them to your workflow / most commonly used apps. Before changing the default in krdc it would be good to have a general consensus. Windows rdp client uses ctrl+alt+pause/break Remmina uses host + F (with host defaulting to ctrl_right), as does Virtualbox
I may have found a shortcut that makes some sense and is probably not used by any other application: <super>+F11 F11 by itself is used by some webbrowsers to switch to fullscreen, but <super>+F11 isn't used by anything as far as I can tell. I tried it in several applications and I checked on some websites that have lists of shortcuts for different applications.
