SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a basic usability issue. Just navigating documents. It was working correctly in previous versions. Please fix it. Thank you.
Hi - following those steps, I can't reproduce this issue with Okular 25.04.0 on my Fedora KDE 42 device. Just to check, what Linux distribution/version are you using, and what method have you used to install Okular (distribution package, Flatpak, Snap Store, etc.)? Thanks!
Hi, It came with the kubuntu desktop. Actually when I tested with other pdfs, it works correctly. I am not sure why it does not with some pdfs.
Thanks - could you please double-check the Help menu > About Okular option to see what version number is shown there? I'm only asking as I'm not aware of Kubuntu versions that would provide Plasma 6.1.5 but Okular 25.04.0 out of the box, and wanted to make sure we were looking at the right version numbers :-) Would you possibly be able to either attach a PDF that shows the issue to this report, or link to it if it's on a public site? Thanks!

Hi, Okular menu says: "Version 24.05.2" KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 I attached the pdf above. This is the view setting: Single Page, Fit Width, Trim Margins.
Thanks for the sample document! I can't reproduce on my device following those steps, but I also realize that I think the version numbers got transposed a bit there. Your device has version 24.05.2 (from 2024) - would you be able to try the current version of Okular, 25.04.0, probably using Flatpak (likely the easiest way to install that on Kubuntu)? Thanks!

I eventually installed Okular Version 25.08.0 by flatpak. The problem still exists. In the following view setting, Scroll Page Up that is triggered by Shift + Space goes a full page up, not just a scroll. This is in contrast to Scroll Page Down that is triggered by Space; it does the right action: it goes a scroll down. View Setting: Single Page, Fit Width, Trim Margins, not Continuous.
