kimageformats has the kimg_psd.so plugin to load PSD images and it worked well up until the past month or two when KDE got a bunch of new updates. Not sure exactly which one. I am Using Arch Linux so I get updates fast. But this functionality does not seem to work anymore.

I am still having issues with this and it is a crucial point of my workflow. I Work with hundreds of .psd files and without the thumbnails its crippling. 

I cannot show a before screenshot because I dont have any. 
I notice the Dolphin icon is slightly different in the past 1-2 months. I believe it was with this update of KDE that broke the .psd thumbnails for me

Also if it helps , Gwenview i can see .psd thumbnails. But not Dolphin

I am not asking you for a screenshot, i am asking you for a .psd file that dolphin fails to create the thumbnail for.

Same problem, since upgrade to F42..    Almost all .psd files on my system were created using Photoshop (CS6), so I tried creating one using GIMP, and that also did not display a thumbnail, but did display one when I changed the suffix from .psd to .png...
OS: Fedora Linux 42 (Workstation Edition) x86_64
Host: HP Z840 Workstation

DE: KDE Plasma 6.3.4
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

And you can not attach a file to reproduce the problem as I am asking for?

I can confirm, that the plugin is broken for EVERY photoshop file. No thumbnail previews are created, neither on desktop, nor in dolphin.

This is a problem in the thumbnailer should be fixed in kio-extras 25.04.1

Please comment if you update to that version and the thumbnail is still not shown for you.

It is fixed  updating from  ffmpegthumbs              25.04.0-1               -> 25.04.1-1
