Visually corrupted text

SUMMARY

If I add text to a title clip and then click the center alignment button the text becomes visually corrupted as shown in the attachment with filename of after.png

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the title clip editor
2. Actively edit some text
3. The text box must be in edit mode (ie there is a blinking cursor)
4. Click the center alignment button

OBSERVED RESULT

The text becomes centered but has become visually corrupted/distorted becoming mostly black.

EXPECTED RESULT

The text becomes centered and there is no visual corruption/distortion.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid,
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I also encountered this problem with the flatpak version when using Debian Bookworm.

Thanks for your report. The issue is not related to the centering button, but rather to handling of text with outline. This is a known issue that when editing a text with outline, the outline is drawn over the letters and thus very thick. This is a painting artifact that only affects edited text. As soon as you deselect the text, it will be drawn correctly. However I just found a workaround to fix this, will commit in a few seconds

Thank you kindly for the quick resolution! I hope 25.04.1 ships in time to slide in to Debian Trixie as the development cycle is moving into the freeze phases getting ready to become the next stable.
