SUMMARY I had previously customized my toolbar in Dolphin, (adding buttons for Create Folder, Refresh, Terminal, removing Location Bar (which moves it to a separate bar), and added an expanding spacer before Open Menu). Since upgrading to 25.04, these customizations have been lost - the toolbar has reverted to defaults. I can recreate them again, but I was wondering if that was expected behavior of the upgrade? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin version 24.12.3 2. Customize the toolbar (add/remove some buttons) 3. Upgrade to Dolphin 25.04 4. Look at toolbar OBSERVED RESULT Toolbar has reverted to defaults. EXPECTED RESULT Toolbar was same as before. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250418 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.14.2-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm aware of https://invent.kde.org/system/dolphin/-/merge_requests/894 which merged the three view buttons into one. Maybe that has caused all the other buttons to reset to default too? Also, I read at https://discuss.kde.org/t/dolphin-forgetting-keyboard-shortcuts/33174 that another user has lost their keyboard customizations since upgrading to 25.04. I haven't customized my keyboard shortcuts in Dolphin so I cannot confirm that, but thought it worth mentioning in case there is a more general issue with customizations being lost with an upgrade to 25.04.
Actually, I may be mistaken about this. I'm not 100% sure I did customize the toolbar (on this particular machine anyway - I use KDE software on multiple machines) prior to 25.04. So I'll close this. PS is there an INVALID or similar status that could be set?
