Created attachment 180423 [details] Improper import QIF I keep having same problem with importing on same payee. QIF is as follows: !Account NBank 9999^ !Type:Bank D04/10/2025 T2084.70 C* PSSA MIncome LSSA ^ When imported I get a transaction with No Payee, category is " Opening Balance " ,with blank in front of "Open" It prompts me for scheduled tranasctions, which I do have for "SSA", but it doesnt match it even though "SSA" is already listed as a payee
My Clock shows 10:06 Central time, Yrt bug reports show 3:06 UT. Why is this
Regarding time: because CDT is five hours behind UTC. Regarding QIF: can you post your QIF profile here, please?
(In reply to Thomas Baumgart from comment #2) > Regarding time: because CDT is five hours behind UTC. > > Regarding QIF: can you post your QIF profile here, please? Don't know if you mean the qif file instead of profile. I don't know how to get to qif profile to post as there are several sections. I discovered the problem as Kmymoney doesn't like using "SSA" as the payee and threfore it skips that and creates an "Opening Balance" entry If I change the payee from "SSA" to "Social Security" it imports correctly with "Social Security" as payee and imports category as well correctly. I have a category "SSA". Could this cause the conflict? I will just have to change "SSA" to "Social Security" in qif before importing. I use an app called ImportQif to convert qfx to qif. Have tried directly importing qfx file but it doesn't match transactions the way I want. Hope this is helpful Thanks
Went back and also if I change SSA and put a space in front of SSA it works perfectly Just wanted to let you know that too
