Created attachment 180415 [details] cluttered vs. clean area Relevant UI component: Timeline Objective: Try to improve the experience when evaluating current key curves and/or having to change some of the effects keyframe values that are in the same clip area as the image thumbnails and texts. Current situation: Thumbnails and texts clutter the area and the display of the graph is not seen cleanly, so making it hard to operate and less simple to evaluate keyframe data (curve shape and keys positions). Suggestion: To temporarily hide those UI elements when relevant. Hiding trigger: 1. When hovering a keyframe in the conflicting area. 2. When hovering anywhere in the conflicting area (not just over a key) by pressing a key (Ctrl, etc.) method (1) having an advantage in discoverability (i.e. the user doesn't have to know about the feature to benefit from it). Note: An attached image, simply illustrates the difference between having all those concurrent UI elements vs. a clean background, in the area. Thanks for listening!
