journalctl while splash screen showing

after the upgrade to fedora 42 (kde plasma edition) the kde splash screen, that appears immediately after the user login takes a very long time (40 seconds), because there are some problems in the background going on i guess.

the problem did not occur prior to the system upgrade.

(additional info: also the autostart apps that have been selected to autostart in the kde system settings -> autostart now take ages, about up to 2 minutes.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login to user account from sddm (to a wayland session)

Actual Results:
kde splash screen takes very long, ca. 40 seconds.

Expected Results:
kde splash screen should only show up for about 5 seconds max.

ok, turns out if i "mask" the plasma-powerdevil.service with

´´´systemctl --user mask plasma-powerdevil.service´´´

the splash screen times and the autostart times are back to normal.

therefore the problem is related to this bug:
