SUMMARY
When using the PC with a controller, Steam Input devices require the desktop portal to give Steam permissions to send mouse events. It is very annoying that the popup can happen multiple times during the same game session. If I enter the desktop, after an hour of gaming, the popup is again there. Preferably the portal should remember the given permissions between PC restarts.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a controller to move a mouse on desktop
2. Accept the "Remote control requested" popup
3. Play a game for about a half an hour
4. Enter desktop
5. Use a controller again to move a mouse

OBSERVED RESULT
The portal prompts for permissions again

EXPECTED RESULT
The permissions should be remembered
