Sample pdf with transparent background

I would like to have an option in the settings or the toolbar to actually show transparent parts in a pdf file (like a checkered background like most programs do).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open pdf with a transparent background (see attachment)

OBSERVED RESULT
Transparency in the PDF file is shown as a white background color.

EXPECTED RESULT
Show the transparency using a checkered background (optional setting, the default should still be white).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Background: I was reviewing a pdf file that was sent to me for printing and the file had a transparent background so only the text/logo would be printed and not a white background around it.
Hint: Use gimp to import the file and in the import dialog unclick "Fill transparent areas with white" to show the transparent background.
