SUMMARY updatectl vacuum (to remove all old versions of images) does nothing STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. have 3 retained images on system through updates, 2. boot from latest 3. run sudo updatectl vacuum host OBSERVED RESULT Error: Nothing found to delete for host EXPECTED RESULT All images except current should be removed SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 202504090255 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Also failed on 0403 & 0402
I think this is needed for early testers like myself because the server images are rolling daily and we want to download and test to make sure it works (as there have been quite a few go wrong). The boot selection shows 4 images available but there are only 3 as the last one is a dud so we can only download 2 bad images before we can't risk another. If vacuum worked this problem would be gone.
