Description Répási Dávid 2025-04-09 14:02:11 UTC
SUMMARY

after mounting a usb drive on user_a, the usb_drive remains in '/run/media/user_a/usb_drive' after logging out.
this happens both ways between user_a and user_b, even when one user is admin

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have two user accounts
2. plug in a usb drive
3. mount it on user_a in dolphin
4. unmount it
5. log out
6. log in to user_b
7. try mounting the usb drive in dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT

dolphin requires admin priviliges to acces the usb stick

EXPECTED RESULT

properly remove the usb drive when logging out, so that user_b gets prompted to mount it to their directory at '/run/media/user_b/usb_drive'

Does the same thing happen when unmounting from the Disks & Devices widget?
