SUMMARY
I have flickering in my recording, blank frames, I tried the workaround but it doesn't work

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start recorder
2. paint with a bigger brush

OBSERVED RESULT
flickering in the recorded video, empty frames

EXPECTED RESULT
I am not sure how this happens but I already looked up solutions and none of them worked, I don't want to make the quality of the experience or result worse but I also want to be able to record it properly without having to rename 100 frames

I noticed the same thing.

Are you using instant preview, by any chance? (view->instant preview)

Ok, from someone on KA who had a similar problem, it seems that the culprit is indeed instant preview. I've renamed the report accordingly.
