Hi, thanks for your report!

I can't reproduce this with current git master … are you speaking of the mouse cursor or the crosshairs that mark the middle of the map?

I'm speaking of the mouse cursor

(Please don't cite everything if you reply via email – this fills the bug with unnecessary text ;-)

My mouse cursor does not disappear when I zoom the map. I'm on Gentoo and X11 though. Maybe Johannes can check this, I think he's on Debian and Wayland …
Comment 4 Johannes Zarl-Zierl 2025-04-06 22:05:34 UTC
Sorry, I can not reproduce the bug on Debian unstable. I tried opening the map view from the image viewer and zooming via the mouse wheel and also via the zoom-slider. In all cases, the mouse remained as a hand shape.

Test environment:
kphotoalbum git master (v6.0.1-63-g52d21801)
marble 24.12.3
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland
