SUMMARY
I have an LG monitor that uses HDMI, I have a Best Buy essentials HDMI cable, no graphical glitches on Windows or on Linux on my laptop display. My laptop has a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile / Max-Q Refresh dGPU

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. IDK

OBSERVED RESULT
Graphical glitches all across the display

EXPECTED RESULT
No graphical glitches

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: Nobara Linux 41
KDE Plasma Version: KDE Plasma 6.3.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.116.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2

We need more information to see which part of the system is at the root cause of this problem. Could you attach either a screenshot or a phone photo of what the monitor looks like with the graphical glitches?

Also, do you have the proprietary nvidia drivers installed?

Note: According to the screenshot, the correct KDE Frameworks Version is 6.12.0

Thanks for the video, it definitely shows what's happening. I'm attaching it as a file to this report so there's no chance of an expired link.

Do you have the TRanslucency effect enabled under System Settings - Desktop Effects? Do you still see these glitches if you turn that off?

Moving this back to the kwin component, since this involves the compositor. Please don't switch it.
