Created attachment 179930 [details] Screen capture of the issue SUMMARY For pictures with many unknown/unconfirmed people, it is difficult to understand which rectangle area correspond to a unconfirmed name. See attached screen capture. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a picture with many new people. 2. Search faces. 3. Just click on a "Unknown" naming popup/field. It turns blue, which is great. OBSERVED RESULT 3a. it is really difficult to understand to which rectangle/face it corresponds. I need to zoom in, and even so, sometime it's not sufficient as some face rectangles may overlap. 3b. Reversely, If I select a face rectangle, it stays white. The corresponding unknown naming field is also staying in the same color. This does not help me to understand where is the name edition field amongst all the unknown ones. EXPECTED RESULT 3. It would be really useful that the selected face rectangle turns blue, the same color than the corresponding Unkown People Name confirmation popup. 3b. Reversely, If I select a face rectangle, it should turn blue (selected), and blue also for the corresponding name edition fields/popup. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 22H2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1
I don't think it'll be any better if all unknown faces have a blue border. Why show all faces at all? If you hover your mouse over a face, only that one is displayed and can be edited. Maik

Hi, The 8.7.0 pre-release Windows installer from today have been rebuilt from scratch with Qt 6.8.3, KDE 6.12, OpenCV 4.11 + CUDA support, Exiv2 0.28.5, ExifTool 13.27, ffmpeg 7, all image codecs updated to last version (jxl, avif, heif, aom, etc.). Please try with this version to see if your problem still reproducible... https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Thanks in advance Best regards Gilles Caulier
