Description Martin Tlustos 2025-04-01 15:38:40 UTC
SUMMARY
Pretty frequently kontact crashes, normally after having exited and then restarting, but also sometimes after exiting. When that happens, drkonqui runs gdb, which then fills the entire RAM and Swap, until it eventually gets cancelled by the system.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start kontact
2. Open kmail part,
3. open akregator and download new articles
4. go back to kmail
5. close
6. in konsole, type "akonadictl stop" and wait for all processes to stop
7. start kontact

OBSERVED RESULT
Huge RAM usage, system freezes

EXPECTED RESULT
System should not freeze
