Created attachment 179849 [details] erroneous Tokyo time Hi there, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure if this bug is related to the Plasma desktop environment, Linux, GNU, or chrony, but since I couldn't find any information about this on other plattforms, this is most likely the best spot. General description: When I use a time zone different from my local time, the clock shows the wrong time. My case: My system time zone is Berlin, my additional time zone is Tokyo. I guess, this is an issue with the time switch to summer time, since this wasn't erroneous before today. When I change the system time zone to Tokyo, the time is correct. System: Lenovo Yoga 7 14ASP9 83HN OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: 20250328 Kernel: 6.13.8.1 Plasma: 6.3.3 Wayland Greetings

Created attachment 179869 [details] correct time after time switch to summer time Just to update you: Yes, it seems to be an issue with the time switch. Now, that the time switch actually occured during the day, the Tokyo time is calculated correctly, when I configure Berlin as the system time.
This is probably an ICU problem, then. We don't mess with that in Plasma code; we just use what it gives us. I'd recommend reaching out to your distro about this; maybe they can nail down exactly what's going on.
