SUMMARY
app crashes after trying to copy hexadecimal color code, or after double click on the color (after installation). 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Double click on a color
2. right click on the color
3. click in Customize
4. select the hexadecimal color code
5. copy it

after reinstalling, the app is crashing in the first step

OBSERVED RESULT
The app crashes

EXPECTED RESULT
I should be able to copy the text

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The app was installed via snap, and I wasn't able to generate Backtraces

can you add a screenshot of the dialog which opens after double-click, please.
I have the feeling that this is a non-KDE dialog which might make the problem...

I see, thanks for your reply. There wasn't a dialog after double-click, the app just closes. But I opened the app through the terminal and made the double-click. I attached the screenshot of the terminal, does it help?

Hmm ... no idea. Do you run kolourpaint from inside a GNOME session (seeing these gtk messages) ?
E.g. what gives: echo $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP
Can you check if you can install a package which contains the color selection dialog (I think the dialog is different depending on the
desktop you are using)

I found a probably related discussion here https://discuss.kde.org/t/issues-in-the-new-kolourpaint-color-selector/27993/11

Maybe try setting the env var XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP="KDE" and run kolourpaint with this set.
