Description Randy 2025-03-25 16:33:08 UTC
I have used KMyMoney for years with earlier versions of KMyMoney running in earlier versions of Linux Mint. One feature I enjoy is in the Scheduled Transactions screen any schedule whose "Next Due Date" value was in the past (i.e. are overdue) would appear in red letters.

I recently upgraded my system, installing Linux Mint 22.1 and then installing KMyMoney 5.1.3 in it. In this new instance, all schedules in the Scheduled Transactions screen are displayed in black letters, even the overdue ones.

SUMMARY

Overdue Schedules (i.e. Schedules whose "Next Due Date" value is in the past) are not displayed in red on the "Scheduled transactions" screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on the "Scheduled transactions" option to display the Scheduled Transactions screen.
2. Create a new schedule whose "Next Due Date" is yesterday's date.

OBSERVED RESULT
The new [overdue] schedule is displayed in black text in the Scheduled Transactions screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
The new [overdue] schedule should be displayed in red text in the Scheduled Transactions screen.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
OS/Distro: Linux Mint 22.1 (Ubuntu)
Qt Version: 5
KMyMoney: 5.1.3-1 build15

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I installed this instance of KMyMoney from the Linux Mint software repository. It is not an AppImage installation.

Still waiting on Linux Mint to push a newer version than 5.1.3-1 build15.
Comment 5 Jack 2025-08-30 21:27:47 UTC
Well, 22.1 does seem to be the latest version of Mint, but as they consider all their versions LTS, I don't know if they will upgrade KMM or not. You should ask in the Mint forums if/when it might happen.
I wonder if this should be closed as DOWNSTREAM instead of just WORKSFORME.
Comment 6 Thomas Baumgart 2025-09-04 13:04:21 UTC
The status WORKSFORME was set by the bot after 30 days of waiting for info. Switched to DOWNSTREAM as requested.
