SUMMARY
When I was using a matrix.org homeserver account, I was able to make use of spaces seamlessly and join rooms. However, I have switched to a new homeserver, located here https://synapse.transgirl.cafe/ . When using Element, FluffyChat or Cinny, I can use spaces as expected with no issues. But on NeoChat specifically, I receive the "Can't join remote room because no servers that are in the room have been provided". I have added all of the servers I am using to the server list, but it still does not work. 

Might be hard to reproduce as it could be an issue on the homeserver side of things, but the fact it works with every other client makes me doubt that

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use an account on a Synapse 1.125.0 account using external authentication (those are the only things that stand out to me about the server)
2. Attempt to join any room from a remote host

OBSERVED RESULT
NeoChat returns Failed to join room Can't join remote room because no servers that are in the room have been provided.

EXPECTED RESULT
The room is joined, as it works on other clients.
