Description Sergio 2025-03-22 18:35:29 UTC
SUMMARY

When switching from ADF to flatbed, the resolution is currently reset to the minimal available value. For instance, with my HP multifunction printer, switching from ADF to flatbed and viceversa causes the resolution to be reset to 75DPI.

In 99.999999% of cases this is not what is wanted. The minimal resolution is typically useless for anything apart from quick previews.

Switching from ADF to flatbed and viceversa should *retain* the current resolution. In case the current resolution is not available in the new mode, the resolution should be changed to the closest available resolution.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set a resolution
2. Switch from ADF to flatbed or viceversa

OBSERVED RESULT

The resolution is reset to the minimal available value

EXPECTED RESULT

The resolution should not change or change to the closest available value
