Description Thomas Rother 2025-03-21 19:50:26 UTC
Spectacle reproducibly crashes when using the webm/vp9 format. The workaround is to use mp4/h264 instead which shows no problems so far.

OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Release: 20250314
Installed lib: ibvpx9 - VP8/VP9 codec library Version: 1.15.0-1.2

Please do attach it; crash reports need backtraces to be actionable. It's at least not a universal issue since this doesn't happen on my machine with WebM/VP9 screen recordings
Comment 2 Thomas Rother 2025-03-26 08:01:06 UTC
... ok, I just see that I have this effect only on one machine yet.
