A Screenshot of the Window at its Minimum Size

SUMMARY

The minimum size of the window is insufficient to display its content, and when resized to a size that obscures its content, no QScrollBar (vertical nor horizontal) appears.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Visit https://mdn.github.io/dom-examples/web-share/.
2. Select "Share MDN!"
3. Resize the window to its minimum size.

OBSERVED RESULT

Its minimum size was not determined by its content. When resized, the content was obscured, yet no QScrollBar was generated.

EXPECTED RESULT

Its minimum size should remain determined by its content, rather than become an apparently arbitrary value, merely upon resize.

Sounds like a bug in Purpose framework (which does the sharing)

Per https://discuss.kde.org/t/why-do-dropdown-menus-appear-as-detached-windows/16580/11?u=rokejulianlockhart, should this even be a window?

If you post a URI to its issue tracker, I'll file an issue upstream, if I've enough information to do so. I've been as yet unable to locate it whatsoever.

Is this still an issue? I made some changes to the share popup: e.g. https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-browser-integration/-/commit/12abad911b1f2e268885de0e705dea5bc6f8b08d

What version is that in? I only have 6.4.5 RN, I think.
