If the file path contains a "#" a wrong file is opened (maybe this happens too, if path contains any special character, not tested).
This happens, if you click/ double click the file to open, if you place it via drag&drop, the file is correct opened.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a folder with a "#" in the folder name and place a pdf there
