Description Olga 2025-03-18 11:10:28 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect your scanners with ADF/ADF Duplex to your computer with USB cable/Wi-Fi/Ethernet
2. Open digiKam -> Import -> Import from Scanner -> Select Scan source -> Scan -> Save acquire image

OBSERVED RESULT
The save window opens again to save acquire image which is already saved. This may happen several times in a row for one acquired image

EXPECTED RESULT
Once the sheet is scanned, the save window opens only once.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: ALT Workstation K 11.0 Beta
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It looks like a floating issue, you need to scan and save several times to get it. It reproduces for scanners connected with USB cable (for example Canon i-SENSYS MF-4410, HP LaserJet MFP M132a) and connected with Wi-Fi/Ethernet (for example Pantum CM1100ADW, Kyocera ECOSYS-M2040dn)

I've tried such softwares as Simple-scan (https://apps.gnome.org/en/SimpleScan/) and XSane (https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/XSane/) and haven't faced with this problem

Which libsane did you use ?
Also which Qt version ? Go to Help/Components Info dialog in digiKam for details.
