Run neofetch in konsole OBSERVED RESULT When the last part of the system properties scan concludes, perhaps GPU part or perhaps the color bar part causes plasmashell to crash. The crash handler reports no address to report bugs to. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Neon 6.3 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Running X11 on NV550.
If something crashed, we need a backtrace of it so we can figure out what's going on. Can you please attach a backtrace of the crash using the coredumpctl command-line program, as detailed in https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl? Thanks!

Thanks, that was helpful. This is bug 500326, an upstream issue in Qt. It's already been fixed there, and the fix will be included in the next releases of both the 6.8 and 6.9 series. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 500326 ***
Thank you for the feedback. I am trying to learn how to give you better information, so this has actually been a useful learning experience.
Thanks for helping make KDE software better! Once it's set, there's no need to change the resolved status from DUPLICATE back to BACKTRACE – it's sometimes useful to have them linked even on resolved bugs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 500326 ***
Opps, sorry, my bad. That an accidental click through. Had a pile of terms open. I will be more careful next time.
