Created attachment 179449 [details] kcm_keyboard page SUMMARY When adding a new keyboard layout in Wayland (for example, Latin American), the changes are lost once the system is restarted STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open keyboard preferences 2. Press add keyboard layout 3. Select any layout (latin amaerica for instance) OBSERVED RESULT The new layout is added to the list, but the change is lost after reboot EXPECTED RESULT The change should be permanent SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Do you have an Input Method like fcitx5 or Ibus installed? If so, you need to either use your Input Method to handle keyboards layouts, disable keyboard handling in your IME settings or uninstall it you don't need an Input Method.
