SUMMARY When a dome is configured in an Ekos profile, on initial connection it shows as a tab on the Ekos window. If for some reason the indilib driver disconnects or I manually disconnect it, the Ekos dome tab goes gray and the dome is not actionable anymore. It happens on different kinds of rolloffino domes, both real and the simulator. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a profile with a telescope, ccd and dome rolloffino simulator. 2. Start the profile. 3. Wait for the devices to be available. 4. A tab for the dome shows on Ekos. 5. Open "INDI control panel" window. 6. Manually disconnect the dome simulator. 7. Manually connect again the dome simulator. OBSERVED RESULT The Ekos Dome tab is greyed and does not allow interaction with the dome. EXPECTED RESULT Upon reconnecting to the device, the Ekos Dome tab allows interaction with the dome. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: Sonoma 14.7.3 on Apple M1 KDE Frameworks Version: Version 5.115.0 Qt Version: Qt Version 5.15.13 (built against 5.15.12) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I can reproduce it in MacOS (from DMG) and on Raspberry Pi 4b for kstars 3.7.4 compiled from source.
