Description Riccardo Robecchi 2025-03-10 18:45:19 UTC
SUMMARY
Enabling an effect in the bottom right corner makes the top left corner not work: the corner lights up, but the effect simply does not work. It keeps on not working until KWin is restarted.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set "Overview" in the top left corner.
2. Set another effect (e.g. "Grid") in the bottom right corner.
3. Try to trigger the Overview effect by moving your mouse to the top left corner.

OBSERVED RESULT
The effect does not work.

EXPECTED RESULT
The effect works.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is on X11. I haven't tested on Wayland (because I don't use it).

fwiw cannot reproduce on wayland, master build
Comment 2 Riccardo Robecchi 2025-03-11 12:09:10 UTC
I've just noticed this only happens when using multiple monitors. I unplugged the laptop from the docking station to test another bug and the effect worked with only the laptop's screen active.
