Since last Friday (more or less) GTK apps do not appear in my icons-only task manager. This also means that for apps that I had previously pinned to the task manager, the button always behaves as if the app is closed, i.e. starting a new instance. This applies for GTK apps, both from system (i.e. Firefox and Thunderbird from deb repository) and from flatpak (for example re.sonny.tangram). The only exception I could find is Gimp, which appear correctly. Inkscape segfaults immediately on start. These GTK apps also do not register with the "Application Title Bar" plasmoid, which remains blank. I'm using KDE Neon 6.3 (aka 24.04) update to today.
After more testing, it turns out that it is more of a problem with "plasmashell --replace" not working correctly. I'm closing this bug and maybe open a new one with the actual problem.
